How does pagevane decide what's worth an email?
Each day we diff the page against the last version, then check whether the change matches the plain-English criteria you wrote. Marketing copy, testimonials, navigation, CSS/formatting tweaks, dates, and cosmetic reorders are treated as noise and don't trigger an alert. Real changes to the thing you said you care about do.
What if a page can't be read?
Some pages are JavaScript-rendered, login-walled, or block automated readers. We flag those honestly when you add them — we never silently report "no change" for a page we couldn't actually read. Use the free "Can we read your page?" check above before you subscribe.
Are the quoted before/after lines real?
Yes. Every alert quotes the exact text from your page's actual diff. A validator rejects any quoted fragment that isn't present in the real before/after, so an alert can never invent a value.
How many pages can I watch, and how often are they checked?
Up to 10 watches on one subscription, each checked once a day. You manage them all from your private dashboard.
Can I cancel or pause?
Any time — pause a single watch, pause everything, or cancel the subscription, all one click from your dashboard or any email, no login. Cancelling stops future billing immediately.
What's your refund policy?
Refunds are issued when we can verify one of two things from our own logs: pagevane failed to run your checks for a billing period (so you paid for monitoring you didn't get), or you added no watches and never used the service. We don't offer a blanket "changed my mind" window — pagevane's value is the continuous monitoring, not a one-time download. Full details are in our Terms.
